Even on dull or winter days conservatories can become ‘hot houses’. Our collections of vertical, roller and pleated blinds feature specially treated fabrics to address this problem. The ASC pleated range has a pearlised coating on the reverse of the fabrics which acts as a barrier and helps reflect sunlight, which in turn reduces the build-up of heat. Other pleated ranges include our Cellular products. The special honeycomb construction acts as both a barrier to exterior heat and light as well as offer excellent insulation properties.

Not only are roller and vertical blinds a versatile option when it comes to window coverings, but when combined with special reflective coatings they are sure to address just about every installation and every requirement. We have two choices, dim-out which will reduce light penetration by up to 90% and block-out, which the name suggests stops the light completely. Both are excellent for computer environments, children’s bedrooms and where people work shifts and have irregular sleep patterns. The white coating on the reverse of the fabric also reflects heat.
